William J. Savoree

"Bill"

Age 73 of Seneca, passed away Sunday September 16, 2012 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris, where he was recovering from a fall.

Born in Paris, Illinois on August 9th, 1939, Bill was a son of the late John & Dolores Gillogly-Savoree . He was a member of Local 150 of the IUOE; spent his life in construction, and loved every minute of it.

Survivors include his wife Linda (nee Waller); five sons: William D. Savoree (Nancy Konieczny) of Morris, John M. Savoree of Seneca, James T. Savoree (Rachael Jensen) of Seneca, Donald F. Savoree (Janette Teague) of Morris and Kenneth H. Savoree (Kristi Dew) of Morris; one sister Mary Ann Morrisey (Tom) of Paris; brothers: Rev. Jack Savoree and Mark (Karen Switek), both of Paris and Kevin (Pam Cash) of Carmel, Indiana, and grandchildren: Johnny, Michael, Shelby, Jimmy, Jack and Emma, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents John & Dolores Savoree; brother James, and sister Caroline Morrisey (John). He will be missed by all.

Bill will be laid to rest at St. Mary's Cemetery in Paris, Illinois, on Saturday September 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM. His brother Father Jack will officiate.
