"Billy"

Age 21 of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday November 26, 2008, as the result of an automobile accident.

Born October 06, 1987 in Joliet, Illinois, Billy is the son of William J. Quigley, Sr. and Geri Alsbury-Quigley, both of Wilmington. He was raised and educated in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 2006. Billy was currently an honor student at Illinois State University in Normal, where he was named to the Deans List. He was very active in University activities and was the Director of Membership with the University Program Board (UPD). Billy was employed by McDonalds Restaurant in Wilmington for the past 5 years and most recently served as a Crew Manager. He also previously worked for Levy Restaurants at the Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet. Billy was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington and truly enjoyed spending time with his friends. Aside from his friends, Billy took pleasure in music, concerts, photography and attending water parks.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters: Carrie Quigley and Jenny Quigley and maternal grandmother Janet Alsbury, all of Wilmington, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Billy was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: Marvin and Mary Quigley; maternal grandfather: John Alsbury and one uncle: Skip Alsbury.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held at Saint Rose Catholic Church, 624 South Kankakee Street in Wilmington, on Saturday November 29, 2008 from 9:00AM until 12:00 Noon, when a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Steve Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer officiating.

A private family interment will follow in Mount Saint Patrick's Cemetery in Wilton Center, Illinois.
