WILLIAM N. KINSELLA

Age 82 of Wilmington, passed away Monday November 26, 2007 peacefully at his home.

Born in Joliet, IL to the late John and Anna (McGlaghlin) Kinsella of Wilton Center, IL.

William was employed by the Army Corps of Engineers as a Boat Pilot for many years. He was formerly with the Postal Authority and engaged in farming his family land in Wilton Center. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, a Will County Farm Bureau member, and a World War II Naval Veteran. He greatly loved his farm and being with his family.

William is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Edith (nee Brancato); one son Nick (Linda) Kinsella of Morris; two daughters Maureen (Dr. Michael) Keating of Kentucky and Gina (Bob) Staehely of Shorewood; nine grandchildren: Mike (Dr. Amy) Keating, Ashley Keating, Robert (Dr. Jill) Kinsella, Anna Kinsella, Shane and Brandon Gilbertson, Matt and Cody Staehely and Rich Salvatore; two great-grandchildren Alyssa and Ella Gilbertson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

William is preceded in death by his parents; four brothers John, Maurice, Edwin and Gerald; and sister Mary Rademacher.

Visitation will be Thursday November 29, 2007 from 3-7PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow on Friday, November 30th at 10:00AM in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Don Dyer officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials as gifts in William's memory to the Kuzma Care Cottage of Wilmington are greatly appreciated.
