William Bell

"Billy"

Age 62, a resident of Good Shepherd Manor in Momence, passed away Monday May 21, 2012.

Born November 9, 1949 in Joliet, Billy was a son of the late Ruth E. (nee Neeley) and Leo J. Bell. Billy will be remembered for his love of coloring, footballs, baseballs and watches. He adored his collection of stuffed animals, especially his 'Lamb of God', and greatly enjoyed being in workshop and taking the time to enjoy a pop. Billy had a deep faith and great love for Jesus.

Survivors include his siblings: Sheila (the late Jerry) McGee, Leo Bell, Jr., Perry (Kathy) Bell and Trish (Randy) Lake; half siblings: Jenny Rodriquez and Johnny Bell; several aunts and uncles and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as a special niece and nephew: Melissa Edwards and Nicholas Cole.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Harold.

Visitation will be held on Saturday May 26, 2012 from 11:00AM until time of funeral service 1:30PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Pastor Mark Thompson from Christian Life Assembly Church in Diamond will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Billy's memory to the Good Shepherd Manor, 4129 North State Route 1 - P.O. Box 260, Momence, Illinois 60954.
