Wesley Joseph Warriner

Age 95, formerly of Wesley Township, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2012 in McMinnville, Tennessee.

He was born in Wesley Township on January 13, 1917 to the late Charles J. and Florence A. Griffith-Warriner. He was united in marriage to the late Blanche Leroy-Warriner on August 7, 1938.

Wesley was successful throughout his life moving from factory work to owning his own construction business. Wesley was an outstandingly respected man, never taken life or love for granted, with an amazing ability to touch lives daily. He was an honest and fair man with a heart of gold.

He is survived by one son Joseph Warriner of McMinnville, TN and one daughter Joyce Baxter of Long Mile, MO; one brother and sister-in-law Melvin and Loraine Warriner of Joliet, IL, also numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He will be sadly missed by all.

Wesley was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years; two sons, Kenneth and Richard, and a son-in-law Dana Baxter.

A memorial will be held on Saturday April 27, 2013 from 10:00AM until the time of service 11:00AM at the Ritchey United Methodist Church on Route 102 in Ritchie, IL.

Inurnment will be in the Wesley Cemetery, Wesley Township.

In lieu of flowers, make donations to the Ritchey United Methodist Church in Wesley's name.
