Victoria J. Harvey

Age 85 of Coal City and formerly Chicago, passed away Saturday morning February 23, 2008 at her home.

Born October 30, 1922 in Rome, New York, Victoria was a daughter of the late Albert and Anna Koltoniak a�" Luczak. She was raised and educated in Chicago and was a graduate of Carl Schurz High School with the Graduating Class of 1940. On July 13, 1946 Victoria married Roland L. Harvey in Chicago, and together they lived in Chicago until moving to Coal City in 1990. She was involved volunteering with PTO, Girl scouts and the Lions Club, and in her free time Victoria enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening and jigsaw puzzles, but most of all was dedicated to her family.

Survivors include her husband Roland; two daughters: Linda Knight of Mokena and Nancy (Barney) Stewart of Coal City; four grandchildren: Elizabeth (Stephen) Scofield of Bristol, England, Dr. James R. (Kathleen) Knight of Columbus, Ohio, Debbie Stewart of Oak Park, Illinois and Steven Knight of Mokena, Illinois. (2) Great grandchildren: Andrew and Christopher Fischer of Coal City; two sisters: Celia (the late Norbert) Provax of San Jose, California and Sylvia Luczak of Peru, Illinois and her Godson Eugene Koeppe, Jr. of Lisle, Illinois, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Victoria was preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Lucille Koeppe and Irene Zalesny and brother and sister: Martin Luczak and Regina Luczak in Childhood.

A private family interment will be held in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Victoria's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
