Veronica "Roni" Skupien

Age 46 of Wilmington passed away Friday September 3, 2010 at Joliet Community Hospice Home with family and friends at her bedside. Living with MS for over 20 years with grace and dignity. Born March 19, 1964 in Joliet to Glenn & Frances (Sweeney) Mantooth of Apache Junction, AZ. Survived by her loving husband Frank G. Skupien and her dear daughter Heather. Sister to Two brothers Robert Mantooth of Lemont and Glenn (Leslie) Mantooth of Lockport and a sister Jane (Ron) Stratz of Wisconsin also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandparents John & Jane Sweeney and Wayne & Myrtle Mantooth. Member of the Multiple Sclerosis Society and St. Rose Catholic Church of Wilmington and Former member of St. James Catholic Church of Lemont. Visitation On Wednesday September 8, 2010 from 3:00PM until time of services at 7:00PM at the Freitag Funeral Home Wilmington With Deacon Donald Dyer officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded after the services. In lieu of flowers memorials to MS Society or Joliet Community Hospice Home would be appreciated in Roni's name.
