Valerie Ann Harris

Age 46 of Coal City, passed away suddenly Sunday December 31, 2006 at her home.

Born March 12, 1960 in Joliet, she is a daughter of Dorothy (nee Ciluffo) Fitzgerald and the late John Greenan. Valerie was raised and educated in Coal City.

Survivors include her mother Dorothy (Donald) Fitzgerald of Coal City; two sons: Richard Dean of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and Joshua Burrell of Coal City; three grandsons: Isaac Taylor, Carter Thomas and Gavin Nelson; two sisters: Lori (Dave) Clubb and Karla (Jim) McClure both of Coal City; one brother John (Sylvia) Greenan of New Lenox and one aunt Sharon (the late Robert) Ahlstrand of Goose Lake, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Valerie was preceded in death by her father John Greenan and maternal grandmother Leona Martikan.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 04, 2007 from 9:00AM until time of funeral services 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Dr. Thomas Logsdon from the Coal City United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Braceville-Gardner Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: John Greenan, Jeremy Clubb, Brandon Clubb, Nick Clubb, Rob Mayo and Dennis Dean.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Valerie's memory to her family for the benefit of her son Joshua's education.
