Age 77 of Atwood, IL passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at her daughter's residence in Wilmington.

Vada was born on November 18, 1936 in Tichnor Arkansas. She was the daughter of the late John Hilliard, and Nellie (Crosswhite) Hilliard. She married Donald Binion on February 22, 1958, in Hernando, and he passed away on August 15, 2008. Vada loved spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, she also loved gardening, and fishing. She was known for her southern cooking, and famous peanut butter pie. She loved listening to country music, especially Tom Jones. The song Arkansas was one of her favorites.

She is survived by two daughters; Venita Sanchez and her husband Domingo of Wilmington, IL, Laura Binion and her fiancAC. Jeremy McGuire of Arthur, IL; one son, Gaylin Binion, and his wife Karin, of Sadorus IL; 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Vada was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers, one sister, and one granddaughter.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola, IL. Graveside Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 in the Arthur Cemetery. Brian Henningsen will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made to Vada's family for their distribuition.

Local arrangements were made under the direction and care of Baskerville Funeral Home in Wilmington.
