Treva Pauline Friddle
Age 89 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday Feb 7, 2009 at Walnut Grove Village Morris. Born December 27, 1919 in Metcalf, IL to the late Sylvester & Zelma (Chaney) Hidlebaugh Also preceded in death by her husband Perry Louis Friddle(1998), one granddaughter Kimberly Ray, a great granddaughter Jennifer Ray, one brother Virgil Hidlebaugh, a sister Reba Bennett,and twin infant sisters. Survived by six children Mary Lou Friddle of Michigan, Perry (Patsy) Friddle Jr. of Collinsville, Leonard (Linda) of Coal City, Thomas (Lu) of Joliet, Michael (Judy) of Coal City and Charles (Sharita) Friddle of Wilmington; Grandmother of Kevin (Angie) Vargas, Perry Sichling, Richard (Belinda) Sichling, Steven (Tina) Friddle, Jeffrey Friddle, Shawnna (Donnie) Brantley, Leonard (Mindy) Friddle Jr, Michael, Shawn Friddle, Ron Shain, Justin, Eric & Ryan Friddle, Megan, Marty & Matthew Guidera, Dennis (Joy) Kinney and Kathy (Steve) Knickrehm; Great Grandmother of 21; two sisters Marcella (Late John) Nicholson of Joliet and Norma Jean (James) Baker of Manhattan and numerous nieces and nephews; and her dear friends Sharon, Janet and Dianne. Former cook at the Soldier's Widows Home, Bullock's and the Island Restaurants in Wilmington. A resident since 1935. Treva had a great joy of crocheting, cheering on the Bears and Cubs and cooking her vegetable soup. Visitation Tuesday Feb 10, 2009 from 10AM until time of Services at 12:00 Noon at the Freitag Funeral Home with Rev. Hyujae Lee officiating from the First United Methodist Church Wilmington. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery Wilmington. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Wilmington Moose Lodge would be appreciated in her memory.
