Age 61 of Wilmington, Illinois died Friday, January 31, 2025 at his home.
Born May 25, 1963 in Joliet, Illinois, Timothy Raymond was a son of Robert John and Geraldine Marie (Ruddy) Quigley. He was raised on the family farm in Wilton Center, attended St. Joseph School in Manhattan and graduated from Peotone High School with the Class of 1981. Tim married Kathy Deihs in St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington on July 12, 1986 and they made their home in Wilmington. Tim was a member of the Suburban Teamsters and held employment over the years with Valley Concrete and most recently Diamond Construction. He was a member of Meneoka New Lenox Sports and Recreation Club in Braidwood where he enjoyed camping and spending time. Tim was a passionate sports fan, and remained loyal to the Green Bay Packers, Chicago White Sox, and NASCAR. Known as a master of all trades, he had a knack for fixing anything and was always ready to lend a helping hand. Tim took pleasure in a good game of euchre; loved his family, and simply enjoyed being in the good company of family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy; siblings: Mike (Judi) Quigley of Wilton Center, Dan Quigley of Manhattan, Kathy (Dale) Lattz of White Heath, Illinois, Mary (Michael) Breen of Homer Glen, Illinois and Colleen (William) Harvey of Shorewood, Illinois; brother-in-law, Russell “Rusty” (Rochelle) Deihs and sister-in-law, Vicky (Tom) Spangler, both of Wilmington, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, as well as his dedicated caregiver, Debra Losacco.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Andy and Robert and his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Russell and Gudrun “Judy” Deihs.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. until time of service 6:00 p.m. Deacon Jay Plese from St. Rose Catholic Church will preside.
