Age 84 of Morris, passed away Tuesday morning July 03, 2007 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born May 15, 1923 in Verona, Illinois, T.J. was a son of the late Edward and Josie O'Brien - Prindiville. He was raised and educated in Verona and graduated from Dwight High School with the Graduating Class of 1941. T. J. was a veteran of the US Navy and served during World War II in the Pacific Theater of Operations. On August 16, 1947 T.J. married Mary Ragan in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris, where he was a member and he was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Company for 31 years until his retirement. T.J's other memberships included: Morris VFW, where he was a lifetime member, Morris American Legion, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and Tin Can Sailors. T.J. was an avid outdoorsman and Chicago Cubs fan, and in his free time he enjoyed playing cards, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife Mary (nee Ragan); four sons: Mike (Susan) Prindiville of Dunedin, Florida, Thomas Prindiville of Modesto, California, Ron (Ann) Prindiville of Turlock, California and Paul Prindiville of Modesto, California. Eight grandchildren: Kelly Prindiville of Braidwood, Laura Prindiville of Ottawa, Cheryl (Stefan) Sjostrom of Lund, Sweden, Colleen (FiancAC.' Matt Gregercy) Prindiville of Dunedin, Florida, Jennifer Sullivan and Jimmy Taylor, both of Turlock, California, Corinne Prindiville of Modesto, California and Alan Prindiville of Turlock, California; four great grandchildren: David Prindiville and Thomas Danielson, both of Ottawa, Alleena Gregercy of Dunedin, Florida and Charlie Prindiville of Braidwood; four great-great grandchildren: Luke Prindiville, Cory Prindiville, Kaitlyn Sullivan and Megan Sullivan; one brother Frank (Arlene) of Dwight and one sister-in-law Gloria Prindiville of Ottawa, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Friday July 6, 2007 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Mass 11:00AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 516 E. Jackson St. in Morris. A funeral luncheon will immediately follow services at the Morris American Legion and a private family burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Ransom.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in T.J.'s memory to Immaculate Conception Building Fund, 516 E. Jackson Street, Morris, Illinois 60450, Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
