Age 30 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013.

Born January 24, 1983 in Joliet, Tim is a son of Averal "Craig" and Patricia Ann Tinges-McKim. He was raised and educated in Wilmington; attended St. Rose School, Wilmington High School, and most recently Ivy Tech Community College in Terra Haute, Indiana. Tim worked as a caretaker providing care for his grandfather. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing with his family, boating, the outdoors and flying with his dad and brother. He was an artist and loved to draw.

Survivors include his parents Craig and Patricia McKim of Wilmington and Summerland Key, Florida; four children: Kiara McKim, Dominic McKim, Kiley McKim and Mia McKim; two sisters: Rhonda (Ed) Swanson of Wilmington, Lagene (Mike) Rudibaugh of Charleston, Illinois; one brother; Shane (Heather) McKim of Essex, Illinois; aunts and uncles: Bill Tinges of Michigan, Mike and Mary Tinges of Wilmington and Sheena Jorgenson of Coal City; great aunts and uncles: Eileen Tinges of Pontiac, Junior and Norma Jean Lyme of Wilmington, Erlene Crater and Edna Weathersby, both of Minooka and Dan Davis of Louisiana; nieces and nephews: Monique Waddell, Kenneth Smith, Kenneth Bannon, Kirstyn McKim, Katlyn McKim, Brennan McKim, Kristy Lestina, Evie Rudibaugh and Adam Rudibaugh, as well as Danielle Cowie; great niece: Cadence Kent and Godmother: Loretta Cowie of Morris.

Tim was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Kenneth and Eleanor Tinges; paternal grandparents: Dorothy Read and Elvin McKim; one brother Russ McKim in infancy, and his loving fiancAC. Samantha Whittaker.

Visitation and video tribute will held be on Friday, April 12, 2013 from 10:00am until 1:00pm at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow at 1:30pm in Saint Rose Catholic Church, 604 South Kankakee Street in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Steve Bondi officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington.
