Terry Glenn Frost
Age 64 of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Monday March 12, 2012 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.
Born August 17, 1947 in New Haven, Illinois, Terry is a son of Fern Hill-Frost of Scottsville, Kentucky and the late Lewis M. Frost. He was raised and educated in New Haven, prior to moving to Wilmington. On December 31, 1966, Terry married Susan E. Soltysik in the Church of God of Prophecy in Wilmington and together they made Wilmington their home. Terry was employed as a Union Laborer with Local #75 until 1985 and also worked with Wesley Township. He was member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge, Mooseheart and the Cushman Club. Terry enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and working on his Cushman Scooters. He will also be remembered for his cherished time spent with his granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years Susan; children: Vicki Roach (Travis) and Terry Lee Frost, both of Wilmington; granddaughter Nicole Susan Roach, as well as Aubrey Sinchak, who was like a granddaughter to Terry; his mother Fern Frost and sister Tena Frost (Stan), both of Scottsville, Kentucky; brother Virgil Frost (Janet) of Wilmington; sisters-in-law: Colleen Dotson (Donald) of Texaco, Illinois, Pam McGowan (Jack) of Ocala, Florida and Phyllis Schewe (Ken) of Custer Park, Illinois and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends; including his lifelong friends: Melvin Palmer, Dave Gretz, Dave Hill and Joe Rodawald, all of Wilmington.
Terry was preceded in death by his father; sister Robin Frost and brother Jimmy Frost.
Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Friday March 16, 2012 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. (815/476-2181).
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery Sunset Addition in Wilmington. Pallbearers will be Terry Lee Frost, Travis Roach, Chris Frost, Melvin Palmer, Dave Gretz, Dave Hill and Joe Rodawald.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Terry's memory to his family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
