Terri L. Gilmoure

Age 54 of Morris, passed away Wednesday evening, September 28, 2016 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.

Born January 11, 1962, in Morris, Terri Lynn was a daughter of E.L. "Butch" and Mary Ann (Bien) Olson. She was raised in Morris and graduated from Morris High School. She operated Terri Gilmoure Country Financial at 401 N. Liberty Street in Morris, where she was a Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow, Certified Financial Consultant and Field Service Specialist. Terri was extremely active in the community, serving as president of the Morris Hospital Foundation Board; board member and ambassador for the Grundy County Chamber of Commerce; participated in the Morris Retailer Association, and belonged to the Morris Country Club. When Terri was not out and about in the community or serving her clients, she enjoyed spending time in her yard gardening and bird watching, or was inside painting and crafting.

Survivors include her husband Norman, whom she married July 17, 1982; siblings: Diana (William) Vacca of Bonita Springs, Florida, Richard (Janet) Olson of Morris and Donna (William) Malone of Double Oak, Texas; two nephews: Mark (Stephanie) Olson and Erik (Stacey) Olson; one niece Paige (Brad) Surges and her father and mother-in-law: LeRoy "Tuffy" and Velda Gilmoure of Mazon.

Terri was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive friends at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 East Jackson Street in Morris on Monday, October 3, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Reverend Dr. Roy Backus will officiate.
