Sonya Lynn Timm

Age 42 of Morris, passed away Friday March 18, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born February 19, 1969 in Kankakee, Sonya is a daughter of Chris and Lynn Baade-Lichtenberger. On June 5, 1993, Sonya married the love of her life, Kevin Timm. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother who loved spending time with her husband, three daughters and family. Sonya also enjoyed collecting antiques, making crafts, sewing and working as a Health Aid at White Oak School. She was a former president of the PTO and also worked as the yearbook coordinator for District 54 White Oak and Shabbona Schools.

Survivors include her husband Kevin; three daughters: Dakota, Cheyenne and Shawnee; mother and father: Lynn and Chris Lichtenberger of Buckingham, Illinois; sister Celeste Lichtenberger of Las Vegas, Nevada; mother and father-in-law: Ernest and Sherry Timm of Bourbonnais; sister-in-law Kristine (Mark) Simon of Morris; brother-in-law Jason Timm of Bourbonnais; nephew Grant Simon and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sonya was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: James and Marilyn Baade and paternal grandparents: Robert and Marjorie Lichtenberger.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday March 23, 2011 at the First Presbyterian Church, 200 East Jackson Street in Morris. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until time of funeral service 8:00PM. Reverend Dr. Roy Backus will officiate and cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts Sonya's memory to her family for their distribution.
