Silas G. Baers

Age 74 of Carbon Hill, passed away Wednesday February 11, 2009 at Morris Hospital.

Born May 17, 1934 in Joliet, Silas was a son of the late Walter and Leila Baers. He married Judy Burns and she preceded him in death on May 13, 2003.

Per Silas' wishes there will be no visitation or services and Silas will be laid to rest with his wife Judy in Kewanee, Wisconsin.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Silas' memory to Grundy Community Volunteer Hospice: 1802 North Division Street, Suite 222, Morris, Illinois 60450 or to the Carbon Hill Historical Society and Museum: 875 North Second Street, Carbon Hill, Illinois 60416.
