Shirley H. Ridgway, 94, of Morris, passed away Saturday December 10, 2022 at Park Pointe Healthcare & Rehab Center in Morris.
Born May 7, 1928 in Chicago, she was the daughter of Edward and Stephane (Kostiwa) Hondlik. She received her education in the schools of Chicago and Minneapolis. She married Robert Ridgway Jr. in 1948 where they both were attending the University of Minnesota.
She is survived by four nieces; two nephews; five step grandchildren; her son-in-law, Warren (Donna) Olson of Morris.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband; her son, Robert Ridgway III and her daughter, Karen Ridgway Olson.
She enjoyed traveling, collecting antiques such as spoons, glassware and stamps. Shirley had an adventurous spirit, always ready for a new experience. Her favorite childhood memory was visiting her grandparents at their candy store and she loved holidays and family cookouts.
Inurnment will take place at a later date in Minnesota.
