Sheila Giffin

Age 40 of Custer Park died unexpectedly May 30, 2022 at her home.

Born December 26, 1981 in Peoria, Illinois, Sheila is a daughter of Wendell Perry and Janice (Moore) Perry. She was raised in Custer Park and graduated from Reed-Custer High School with the Class of 2000. Sheila was a good person who enjoyed helping people. She had a knack for really listening to others, and cared deeply about those who went through similar challenges as she did. Above all else, Sheila had a big heart and loved her family dearly, especially her children.

Survivors include her mother and father: Janice Perry of Custer Park and Wendell Perry of Essex; two children: Hope Dillinger and Hayley Patterson; one step-son, Mitchell Giffin; one niece, Addison Perry, and her ex-husband, Tim Giffin.

Sheila was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and two brothers: Vincent Perry and Timmy Perry.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and the family will receive friends for a memorial visitation Friday June 3, 2022, at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington from 2:00 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4:00 p.m.
