SHARON KAY PITTS "Sherry"

Age 62 of Wilmington, passed away Sunday March 22, 2009 after a long illness at her home with family at her bedside. Born November 1, 1946 in Joliet to the late Harold & Bertha (Johnston) Schutten and also preceded in death by a sister Donna Jean Lybarger (1991). Survived by her loving husband Donald C. Pitts; two sons David (Pam) Pitts of Marseilles and Steve (Lisa) Pitts of Wilmington; five grandchildren Derek, Nick, Emma, Devin & Abby; one sister Gayle Schutten and a brother Richard Schutten both of Wilmington; two special nieces Debbie Lybarger and Cindy Harvey. Cremation rites will be accorded at Sherry's request. A gathering of family and friends on Saturday March 28, 2009 from 10:00AM until time of memorial services at 2:00PM at the Freitag Funeral Home with Rev. Jyujae Lee of the First United Methodist Church of Wilmington officiating. Memorials in lieu of flowers to Provena Hospice at 77 North Airlite, Suite 260, Elgin, IL 60123 would be appreciated.
