"Rusty"
Age 68 of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly Friday August 24, 2012.
Born November 17, 1943 in Butte, Montana, Sharon was a daughter of the late Jack and Paula Brownbeck-Kinser. She was raised in Butte, Montana and on October 30, 1960, Sharon married Darwin Lang. She worked for Johnson & Johnson Personal Products in Wilmington, from where she retired after 30 years of service. Sharon also held employment in the cafeteria at Dresden Station during the outages. She was an active and proud member of Women on Wheels, which demonstrated her love of motorcycles and riding; and she will be remembered for always being social, talking on the phone and having a love for shopping.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years Darwin "D.J." Lang; three daughters: Sandra (the late Dennis) Beckman and Connie Lee Moore, both of Coal City and Karrie (Russell) Hawkey of Morris; three grandchildren: Steve Beckman of Iraq, Ray Moore of Coal City and Kelly (Andy) Kreklow of Wisconsin; one great grandson Colton Kreklow and one brother Tom (Margo) Kinser of Indiana.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law Dennis Beckman and one brother Paul Kinser.
The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation and video tribute on Wednesday August 29th between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. A private family inurnment will be in Montana at a later date.
