Sean D. Soltysik

Age 36 of Dwight and formerly Braidwood, passed away Friday July 6, 2012.

Born May 11, 1976 in Kankakee, Sean is a son of Connie (nee Feazel) Benson of Dwight and the late Richard Dwayne Soltysik. He was raised and educated in Braidwood and will be remembered for his love of fishing, politics, going to auctions, camping and the outdoors.

Survivors include his mother and step-father Connie and Donald Benson of Dwight; two children: Austin Dastani and Garrett Soltysik; brothers and sisters: Heath (Kerry) Soltysik of Los Angeles, California, Donya Brown of Dwight and Rick Soltysik and Amber Soltysik, both of Godley; his maternal grandmother Glenda (Loren) Millikan of Harrisburg, Illinois; two nieces: Brittany and Katelyn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sean was preceded in death by his father Richard Dwayne Soltysik; paternal grandparents: Walter and Myrtle Soltysik and maternal grandfather Donald D. Feazel.

The family will receive friends on Monday July 9, 2012 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block North of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Pastor Rick Barnard from My Fathers House of Prayer will officiate and burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris. Pallbearers will be Heath Soltysik, Bob Feazel, Doug Feazel, Don Benson, David Read, Kalvin Noonan and Michael Leonard.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Sean's memory to his family for their disposition.
