Sara Louise Altiery
Age 27 of Braidwood, passed away unexpectedly along with her son, Levi Eichelberger on May 27, 2021 as the result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born June 3, 1993 in Hinsdale, Illinois, Sara Louise is a daughter of Debra J. Buck and the late John H. Altiery. She was raised in Braidwood, and graduated from Reed Custer High School with the Class of 2011. She has been employed with United Meter in Morris as a secretary since 2018.
A devoted mother to three, Sara’s hobbies included reading, gardening and a love of animals. No hobby was greater however, than that of being a mother. Sara leaves behind an unforgettable smile, and will be remembered for her ability to make everyone she encountered feel special.
Survivors include her mother, Debra Buck (Pete Zouganelis) of Wilmington; two daughters: Dakota Altiery and Brooklyn Eichelberger; one brother, Joshua (Tonya) Altiery of South Carolina and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Sara was preceded in death by her father, John, and son Levi on May 26, 2021.
The family will receive friends for a visitation on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City from 3:00 p.m. until the time of funeral service, 7:00 p.m.
