Age 79 of South Wilmington and formerly Joliet passed away Sunday, May 1, 2011 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Born in Terre Haute, Indiana, Ruthie was a daughter of the late Arthur and Gaynell Lathrop-Fuller. She was raised and educated in Terre Haute and on April 12, 1951 married Jack Webb in Clinton, Indiana. Ruthie's great joys were being a homemaker, her family and her grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children: Carol (Bill) Miner of South Wilmington, Deborah (Bob) Burns of Port Charlotte, Florida, Cheryl Gibson of Gardner; one son-in-law: Tom Gibson of South Wilmington: Seven grandchildren: Deanna Myers of Ramsey, Illinois, Tonya (Darrin) Fisher, Henry (Michelle) Miner, Jr., Eric Gibson, Arielle Gibson of Gardner, Jessica Burns (Justyn Friday) of Plainfield, and Jennifer (Brian) Hastreiter of Bradenton, Florida; Eleven grandchildren: Valerie Hanko, Leanna Morrell, Joshua Davidson, Jack Davidson, Tanner Fisher, Riley Miner, Delaney Miner, Hannah Hastreiter, Haylyn Hastereiter, Sydney Friday and Justyn Friday, Jr.; one sister: Thelma Henneman; one brother-in-law: Robert Webb and two sisters-in-law: Olga Klar and Barb Fuller, all of Terre Haute, Indiana and her dear friend: Pat Kapella of Joliet as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Jack on August 21, 1984; one brother and five sisters.

Visitation will be held on Thursday May 5, 2011 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty Street in Downtown Gardner. Funeral services will follow on Friday morning May 6th at 11:00AM in the funeral home with Chaplain Jim McGuire from Joliet Area Community Hospice officiating.

Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery in Joliet with acting pallbearers: Henry Miner, Riley Miner, Josh Davidson, Jack Davidson, Eric Gibson, Tom Gibson, and honorary pallbearers: Bob Burns and Bill Miner.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ruthie's memory to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60431.
