Ruth C. Strong

Age 95 of Wilmington, passed away August 3, 2013 at Presence Our Lady of Victory in Bourbonnais.

Ruth was a daughter of the late James and Rose Marie Coash. She was a lifelong member of Saint Rose Church and will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter Carlene Lydy of Oxford, Ohio; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Ruth was preceded by her husband Duncan Strong and one sister Dorothy Ward.

Private family services will be held with Reverend Steve Bondi from Saint Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington, where Ruth will be laid to rest next to her husband Duncan.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ruth's memory to the American Heart Association.
