Ruth Skowronski

Ruth E. Skowronski

Age 75 of Wilmington, and formerly Braidwood and Wesley Township, passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

Born January 4, 1938 in Wesley Township, Ruth was a daughter of the late Frances O. and Anna Martha Harding-Warriner. She was raised and educated in Wesley Township, and married Raymond Felix Skowronski whom preceded her in 1990. Ruth worked as a housekeeper for the majority of her life, both privately, as well as for the Braidwood Police Department. She attended Ritchey United Methodist Church, and enjoyed spending time reading and watching Television.

Survivors include two brothers: Gene (Mary) Warriner and Jimmie Allen Warriner both of Wesley Township; two sisters: Della Mae (the late Ray) Calhoun of Wesley Township and Mary Lou (Norm) Fanning of Elwood; her special friend Alice Ramke of Manteno and God-Daughter Debbie Kane of Goose Lake, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her Parents: Frances and Anna Warriner; husband Raymond Skowronski; two brothers: Junior and Dale Warriner, and sister Martha Bishop.

Cremation rites have been accorded per Ruth's wishes, and a private family inurnment will be held in Wesley Cemetery at a later date.
