Ruby Lee Chalcraft
Age 86 of Morris, passed away Thursday October 10, 2013, at Walnut Grove Village in Morris.
Born April 2, 1927 in West Frankfort, Illinois, Ruby was a daughter of the late Samuel and Ruby Robinett-Lacy. She was raised and educated in West Frankfort, and in May of 1943 Ruby married Charles Frailey in Benton, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker for the majority of her life and considered an excellent seamstress. Ruby enjoyed working crossword puzzles, reading, and will be remembered for her love of socializing with friends and family.
Survivors include three children: Glenda (Ed) Pearcy of Essex, Debbie (Dave) Sargent of Mt. Vernon, and Robin Taylor of Mazon; five grandchildren: Chuck (Deborah) Pearcy, Bryan (Sheila) Pearcy, Tammy (Todd) Togliatti, Marc Mays, and Bobbie Taylor; five great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, as well as, half-brother Terry Ditterline.
Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Charles Frailey; Parents: Samuel and Ruby Lacy; step-father George Ditterline and one sister Kay.
Per Ruby's wishes cremation rites have been accorded.
Preferred Memorials may be made as gifts in Ruby's memory to the American Cancer Society.
