Roy Wagner

Age 74 of Wilmington passed away Thursday October 8, 2015 at his home.

Born April 23, 1941 in Whiting Lake, Indiana, Roy was a son of the late Joe and Anna Cielesg-Wagner.  He served in the United States Army during Vietnam, and worked for Wee-Sip Liquors for over 20 years. Roy will be remembered as an avid NASCAR fan.

Survivors include his daughter Samantha Upchurch and his grandson Marshall Mayfield, both of Wilmington.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents and his wife: Shirley Wagner on October 6, 2015.

Cremation rites were accorded and inurnment with full military honors will be held on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at 1:00 PM in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.  Family and friends who wish to attend the services are encouraged to arrive at the Cemetery Welcome Center by 12:45 PM for services.
