Rosemarie A. Wilson
Age 84 of Wilmington, passed away Sunday evening November 11, 2012 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born December 4, 1927 in Chicago, Rosemarie was a daughter of the late Felix Peter "Phil" and Ann Barbara Trepes-Ruatto. She was raised and educated in Braidwood, and graduated from Reed-Custer High School with the Class of 1945. Rosemarie worked for Rossi & Sons in Braidwood (1946-1947) prior to gaining employment with APSA (Ordinance Ammunition Center) in the Transportation Division from 1947-1952 as a Passenger Traffic Clerk. She had a great fondness for socializing with family and friends and took pleasure in many memorable trips to Florida and Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Rosemarie loved to dance and enjoyed playing board games with her grandkids. She truly cherished spending the holidays with her family and will forever be remembered for her warm smile and lifelong friendships.
Survivors include her loving children: Pam (William) Frizzell of Lisle, Sandra (Robert) Antle of Wilmington and Gary Wilson (Kimberly Partridge) of Braidwood, and two granddaughters: Nicole Antle and Kristina Antle, both of Wilmington.
Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday November 14, 2012 between the hours of 4:00PM and 7:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Thursday morning November 15th at 10:00AM in Saint Rose Catholic Church, 624 South Kankakee Street in Wilmington, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Steve Bondi and Deacon Don Dyer officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Wilmington and pallbearers will be: Gary Wilson, Robert Antle, Bill Frizzell, Jim Heck, Nicole Antle and Kristina Antle.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Rosemarie's memory to: The Silver Cross Foundation, 1900 Silver Cross Boulevard, New Lenox, Illinois 60451.
