Age 90 of Morris, passed away Monday morning October 19, 2009 at the home of her daughter in Sugar Land, Texas.

Born April 12, 1919 in Lisle, Illinois, Rose was the daughter of Charles R. and Anna Longtin-Hancock, and the sister of Richard Hancock of Chicago. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris, where she was actively involved both in the Church and Immaculate Conception School. Rose also volunteered for both 4-H and Girlscouts for many years. She wintered with her husband Richard E. Klover in Florida for 25 years, and he preceded her in death on November 5, 1985. Aside from traveling, Rose truly enjoyed gardening.

Survivors include her daughter Susan Martin of Sugar Land, Texas; daughter-in-law Joann Klover of Coal City; five grandchildren: Denise Norton of Minooka, Richard (Kim) Martin of Austin, Texas, Michelle (George) Regier of Mukilteo, Washington, Bryan (Kristin) Martin of Cedar Hills, Utah and Kelly (Jason) Dearth of Coal City; (12) great grandchildren and two sisters-in-law Mary Shives of Leesburg, Florida and Lorraine Klover of Elmhurst, Illinois, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband Richard E. Klover; daughter Carolyn (Louis) Norton; son Richard Klover; one granddaughter Debra Norton and one grandson Christopher Norton in infancy.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 from 9:00AM until 10:30AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris.

Funeral services will then follow Friday at 11:00AM in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Morris, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Richard Smith officiating.

Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Morris.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Rose's memory to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Fund, 514 E. Jackson Street, Morris, Illinois 60450.
