Age 65 of Wilmington, formerly Chicago and Indiana passed away suddenly Monday June 18, 2007 at his home.

Born March 28, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA, Ronald was a son of the late Albert and Rose Hamilton. He was a graduate of Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia and attended college in Chicago. Ronald was a US Air force Veteran having served in Vietnam. He was employed by Excelon Corp. and was an avid coin and stamp collector, as well as antique cars.

Survivors include his loving wife Cheryl (nee Jung); two sons: Ronald, Jr. of Indiana and Shawn of Wilmington; two daughters: Jennifer of Georgia and Sarah (Tim Grant) Hamilton of Wilmington; brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and his beloved dog Dryfus.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents and numerous brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday June 20, 2007 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM and Thursday June 21st from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 10:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (two blocks North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Rev. Steve Bondi and Deacon Donald Dyer from St. Rose Catholic Church in Wilmington will officiate and burial with full military honors will follow in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials as gifts in Ronald's memory to any Animal Rescue Society, greatly appreciated.
