"Ronnie"

Age 66 of Morris, passed away Wednesday September 19, 2012 at Morris Hospital.

Born March 25, 1946 in Memphis Tennessee, Ronnie was a son of the late William and Faye Swain-Ellison. He was a diesel mechanic for many year at Freeway Ford in Lyons, Illinois prior to working with both of his sons in masonry work. Ronnie was a member of First Christian Church in Morris; enjoyed fishing and cherished the time spent with his family, friends and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a true people person who loved attending church.

Survivors include his children: Kelly A. Stapleton, Ronald W. Ellison, Jr. and Jimmy (Amy) Ellison, all of Morris; nine grandchildren: Melissa Stapleton, Joseph Ellison, Tiffany Klimara, Katy Klimara, Keith Stapleton, Jr., Mason Stapleton, Alexis Ellison, McKenzie Ellison and Chaser Ellison; numerous nieces and nephews, and special friends: Wanda Sharp, Clayton Darlington and Derrell McLuckie, as well as the mother of his children: Donna Hardesty.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Saturday September 22, 2012 from 1:00PM until time of funeral service 4:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris. Pastor Scott Zorn will officiate.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ronnie's memory to his family for distribution to local charities of their choosing.
