Ronald F. Daniels

Age 73 of Marseilles and formerly Wilmington, passed away Friday evening March 14, 2014 at Presence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born February 11, 1941, Ronald was a son of the late Frank and Anne Daniels. He was raised and educated in Oak Lawn and retired from Local 150 Operating Engineers, where he worked as a heavy equipment operator. Ron was a member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge and will be remembered as an avid fisherman.

Survivors include two sons: Kenneth (the late Laurie) Daniels and Gary (Heidi) Daniels, both of Peotone; (8) grandchildren: Ashley, Christopher, Amanda, Andrew, Alicia, Shane, Samantha and Spencer; one great granddaughter: Lily and one sister Barbara (Gilbert) LeFevre of Apache Junction, Arizona.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; wife Marion on January 11, 2007, and daughter-in-law Laurie.

Visitation will be held on Thursday March 20, 2014 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Friday March 21 ^st at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery in Wilmington, where he will be laid to rest with his wife Marion.
