Age 81, entered eternal life Thursday, February 26, 2009, at Morris Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris, IL. Born August 11, 1927 in Andersonville,Indiana, Bob was a son of the late Cornelius Esmond and Mattie Norton-Warrick. He was a loving husband and father; accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a Christian example to those around him on a daily basis.

Bob was very patriotic, having served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II aboard the U.S.S. Knoxville.

In June of 1947 he married Nina Lee Craig and was blessed with their three children Terry, Michael and Denise.

In May of 1976 Bob married Marilou S. Gallagher and was blessed with another son, Paul Clifford Warrick.

Bob is survived by his loving wife Marilou; his eight children: Terry (Mary Anne) Warrick, Michael (Judy Lohmar) Warrick, Denise (Steve) Ornstein, Kevin (Marge) Gallagher, Mike (Jane) Gallagher, Sean (Jennifer)Gallagher, Matt (Tyra) Gallagher and Paul Warrick; fifteen grandchildren: Jason (Nichol) Warrick, Annika, and Phillip Warrick, Samantha, Cliff, Zach, Jack, Charlie, Mary Katherine, Annie, Sean, Lucie, Harry and Sam Gallagher and Evan Zalders; two great grandchildren Avaree and Alex Warrick; special children Greg Lundy and Dave and Lee Ann (Lundy) James; and special grandchild Lindsey Babcock. He is also survived by a sister, Olive Warrick-Henson and numerous nieces and nephews.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers: John, James, Paul, Philip, Alfred and Samuel Warrick and his sister Mary Warrick-Hadley.

Bob retired in 1989 after serving 34 years with Illinois Bell Telephone Company.

Bob served his community through many generous efforts such as a choir member and a Deacon at First Baptist Church, a Cub Scout Pack Leader, a founding member of the We Care Program, a Sidewalk Counselor for the Unborn, a volunteer for the Morris Hospital patient transportation van, a Mobile Meals driver and board member, and a volunteer at the Child Evangelism program at Saratoga School where he was known and loved as "Grandpa Bob". Bob was also an honorary member of the Church of the Good Shepherd located at 81 North Ottawa Street in Joliet, IL.

Bob was a loving husband, father and friend, as well as a long standing, Die Hard Cub Fan. His passion for the Lord, and his eternal wisdom, along with his generous and humble heart, enriched the lives of all who were touched by him.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the First Baptist Church of Morris, 1650 West Illinois Route 6, Morris, IL, 60450, would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009 between the hours of 2:00PM and 5:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 408 East Washington Street (one block East of Illinois Route 47) in Morris.

A Going Home Celebration will follow on Monday, March 2, 2009 at 10:00AM in the First Baptist Church of Morris, 1650 West Illinois Route 6 in Morris with Pastor Steve Larson officiating.

Burial with full military honors provided by the Morris Color Guard will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Morris.
