Age 65 of Morris and formerly Coal City, passed away Sunday evening June 9, 2013 at Walnut Grove Village in Morris.

Born September 26, 1947 in Joliet,A Robert wasA a son of the late Marcus and Eva Mae Orolin-Maly.A He was raised in South Wilmington until moving to Coal City at the age of 2.A Robert graduated fromA Coal City High SchoolA with the class of 1965, andA continued on to Roosevelt University in Chicago, where he earned a bachelors degree in English Literature.A RobertA was employed by Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, whereA he was also a member. In his free time, Robert enjoyed going to movies, theater, watching classic movies, reading and visiting with friends.

Survivors include cousins:A Jane (Steve) Welch of Geneseo and John (Barbara) Orolin of North Carolina, as well asA numerous others. Robert was also blessed with several wonderful friends, including Fr. Mike Pennock who had a profound affect on his life.A A A A

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Eva Mae Maly andA one brother, George Maly. A A A A

The family will receive friends at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, 245 South Kankakee Street in Coal City on Friday June 14, 2013 from 9:00AM until time of funeral service 10:00AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with Reverend Ed Howe, CR officiating. Burial will follow inA Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Braidwood.A A A A
