Robert F. Kehm
Age 70 of Wilmington, passed away Monday evening, March 22, 2021 at the home of his son in Coal City, Illinois.
Born August 24, 1950 in Chicago, Illinois, Robert Fred was a son of Elmer and Loretta (Szatkowski) Kehm. He was raised and educated in Chicago; graduated from Lane Tech High School, and went on to attend Coyne Electrical School in Chicago.
Robert worked as an electrician, and held employment with General Electric. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping at Lake Point, fishing and cooking. He also loved spending his time on projects, was a great handyman and had a special interest in carpentry. Robert was a fan of both the Chicago White Sox and the Chicago Bears, and passed the time shopping on Amazon and watching Judge Judy.
Survivors include his children: Jason (Danielle) Kehm and Laura Terry; seven grandchildren: Cheyenne, Zachary, Brayden, Dax, Cole, Morgan and Reagan; one sister, Janet O’Connor; a nephew, Sean O’Connor and his former wife and friend, Corine (Jack) Leonard.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents.
Per Robert’s wishes, cremation rites have been accorded.
Graveside Services will be Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11:30 a.m. in Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, Wilmington.
