Robert E. Hall

Age 64 of Wilmington, passed away Sunday morning March 3, 2013 at Silver Cross Medical Center in New Lenox.

Born July 23, 1948 in Joliet, Robert was a son of the late Henry H. and Leona Josephine Adkins-Hall. On December 18, 1971, Robert married Patricia Ann Douglass in Wilmington. He was a member of the Wilmington Church of Christ, and retired from Caterpillar Tractor Company in Joliet in 2004, after 31 years of service. Robert enjoyed bowling and spending time with the guys at Burger King. He cherished his grandchildren and will be remembered for singing to the kids when they were young.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Trish; three children: Cheryl Patterson, Nancy Hall and Doug Hall, all of Wilmington; four grandchildren: Katie Hall, Kody Patterson, Destiny Hall and Kaleb Patterson; six brothers: Tom (Chris) Hall of Wisconsin, Larry (Carol) Hall of Wilmington, Mike (Dana) Hall of Texas, John (Cheryl) Hall of Streator, Ronnie Lewis of Wisconsin and Terry Lewis of North Carolina; one sister Karen (Brian) Derdzinski of Wisconsin; one aunt Helen (Ray) Monson of Wilmington; his mother-in-law: Gladys Douglass of Tennessee; one brother-in-law Charlie (Debbie) Douglass of Wilmington, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; step-father Levi Lewis; father-in-law Charles Douglass; two brothers: Levi Lewis, II and Bill Lewis and one niece Tina Hall.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Thursday March 7, 2013 between the hours of 4:00PM and 8:00PM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Funeral services will follow Friday morning March 8th at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Wilmington.

Pallbearers will be: Doug Hall, Kirby Hall, Jason Hall, Charles Douglass, Jeff Douglass and Tom Hall.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Robert's memory to his family for their distribution.
