Robert Dale Anderson

Age 73 of Morris, passed away Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at the Morris Hospital.

Born August 09, 1935 in Joliet, Robert was a son of the late William Anderson and Ruth Smiley-Roberts. A veteran of the United States Army, Robert served his country during the Korean conflict. He worked as a roofer and was a member of the Roofers and Water Proofers Local Union until his retirement.

Survivors include his two sons: Mark Anderson of Morris and Robert (Jewel) Anderson of Diamond; three grandchildren: Kate Anderson of Michigan, Matthew Anderson and Ryan Anderson both of Diamond and one sister Bette Randich of Joliet.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Shirlee Carter.

At the request of the family there will be private services and interment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.

Preferred memorials in lieu of flowers may be made as gifts in Robert's memory to his family for distribution to local charities of their choosing.
