Richard Roger Cavanaugh " Dick "

Age 70 of Wilmington, passed away November 27, 2010 at his home in Wilmington. Born February 11, 1940 in Chicago to the late Edward Benard & Dorothy Henrietta (Hahn) Cavanaugh also preceded in death by a brother Eddie Cavanaugh, half-brother Emmet McKenna and a nephew Emmet McKenna, Jr. Survived his loving and life long companion Mary A. Calhoun, one daughter Kimberly A. Babcock of Lockport, six grandchildren, a sister Dede Cotton of Louisiana, a sister-in-law Beverly McKenna of Wilmington and special friends Alan & Roberta Stauffenberg of Manteno and Victor Castle of Wilmington. Former employee of Crown-Trigg Construction Co. of Joliet, member of Stone City VFW and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Cremation rites have been accorded and interment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery with military honors will take place in the spring of 2011 to be announced with a date and time.
