Raymond A. Bondlow

Age 69 of Channahon, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Park Pointe Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Morris.

Born September 27, 1946 in Chicago, Raymond was a son of the late Raymond and Lorraine Bondlow.

Ray was a loving husband and caring grandfather and great grandfather who greatly enjoyed family get togethers. He also took pleasure in having coffee with his many friends; working in his yard; feeding the birds and animals, and playing golf. Ray was retired from the Heat and Frost Insulators Local #17 out of Tinley Park, Illinois.

Survivors include his daughter Renee Ridgley; stepsons: Jeff Parrish and Todd (Heather) Parrish; daughter-in-law: Donna (the late Ray, Jr.) Bondlow; grandchildren: Melissa Bondlow, Kristin Bondlow and Rodney "R.J." Ridgley; step-grandchildren: Nikolas Parrish, Sebastian Parrish, Tanner Harmon and Ryan Rodgers; great-grandchildren: Patrick and Landon; his sister Bonnie Altergott; brothers: Allen (Flo) Bondlow and Randy Bondlow (Myra Friend); brother and sister-in-law: Hugh and Judy Mulligan and close friends: Terry Dooley and Dale Nave, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents; wife Nancy Bondlow (nee Pedroni); son Raymond Bondlow, Jr.; step-son Eric Parrish and granddaughter Brittney Ridgley.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

The family will receive friends for a celebration of life open house on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 12:00 noon until time of memorial service 2:30 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City.

A private inurnment will be in the columbarium at Braceville-Gardner Cemetery at a later date.
