Ralph D. Crocker, Age 78 of Wilmington and formerly Braidwood, passed away May 21, 2009 at Embassy Care Center in Wilmington.
Born November 11, 1930 in Tennessee, Ralph was employed by North American Furniture Corp as a supervisor. He was a member of the American Legion in Bloomington, Illinois and Houses Baptist Church of Atwood, Tennessee. Ralph greatly enjoyed gardening and collecting lighthouses, caps and knives. He also loved the Lord and his family.
Survivors include his loving wife Virginia (nee Conway); three children: Steven (Robin) of Channahon, Illinois, Sharon Crocker of Maplewood, Minnesota and Vickie (Keith) Watson of South Elgin, Illinois; (7) Grandchildren; (10) Great Grandchildren; one sister Shirley (James) Malone of Tennessee and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers and one sister.
Interment was in Minnesota.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Ralph's memory to Embassy Care Center in Wilmington or to Joliet Area Community Hospice.
