Phyllis Patricia Graham

Age 61 of Wilmington and formerly Bridgeport, Chicago, passed away unexpectedly Saturday August 7, 2010 at Bolingbrook Hospital.

Born September 2, 1948 in Chicago, Phyllis was a daughter of Richard and Rose Fitzgibbon-Ariel. On January 7, 1967, Phyllis married John Graham in Chicago. She was a past president of the Wilmington VFW auxiliary, and a member of the Wilmington Moose Lodge. Phyllis can be remembered for her enjoyment of reading, playing the lottery, casinos and gambling.

Survivors include her husband John; five children: Angela Ashue of Hawaii, Kathleen Graham (Keith Skoryi), Gayle Graham, Julia Graham, Laura Graham and Victoria Niles (Lee) all of Wilmington; seven grandchildren: Jessica, Kenny, Brianna, Justin, Cera, Matthew and Tyler; one sister: Rose (Dave) Feliciano of Bridgeport; three brothers: Glen (Rose) Ariel of Woodstock, Johnny Ariel of Centralia and Ernie Ariel of Bridgeport; three brothers and sisters-in-law: Barb and Ken Stellon of AZ, Bob and Nina Graham of TN and Kathy Hurd of Park Forest and numerous nieces, nephews cousins and friends; as well as her special companion Kizzy.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; one son: John in infancy and one brother: Richard Ariel.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Thursday, August 12, 2010 between the hours of 3:00 pm and 7:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 N. Joliet St. (two blocks North of Illinois Rt. 53/Baltimore St) in Wilmington. A memorial dinner at the Wilmington VFW will be served immediately following the visitation and cremation rites will be accorded.

Private family inurnment will be in Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood.
