"Penny"

Age 62 of New Baden, Illinois and formerly Wilmington, passed away Monday February 23, 2009 at Countryside Manor in Aviston, Illinois.

Born September 13, 1946 in Joliet, Penny is a daughter of Marietta (nee Fritz) and the late Ben Chism. She was married to Leo J. Bell, and he preceded her in death.

Survivors include her mother Marietta Chism; children: John Bell of New Baden, Jenny (Larry) Rodriguez of Shorewood, Doug (Kelly) Beasley of Morris, Scott (Tammy) Beasley of Joliet and Bobby Bell of New Lenox; twelve grandchildren: Leo, Katie, Johnna, Joey, Alex, Ariel, Jacob, Matthew, Zach, Brianna, Drew and Josh; three brothers: Dennis Chism and Tim Chism, both of Florida and Rick (Missy) Chism of Marseilles and one sister: Mimi (Dale) Talkington of Goose Lake.

Penny was preceded in death by her father, husband and one brother: Butch Chism.

The family will receive friends on Saturday February 28, 2009 from 9:00AM until time of memorial service 11:00AM at Reeves Funeral Home, 219 North Joliet Street (one block North of Illinois Route 53 / Baltimore Street) in Wilmington. Pastor Ron Taylor will officiate and interment will be private at the request of the family.
