Age 71 of Gardner, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Presence St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Born June 13, 1944 in Morris, Patricia Lynne was a daughter of the late Robert and Arline (McDonald) Christensen. She was raised in the Dwight area, and attended the Danish School south of Gardner and later Dwight grade school. She was a graduate of Seneca High School and continued her education in nursing at Silver Cross School of Nursing.  On February 1, 1964, Lynne married Stephen Leonard Terry in Morris and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2014. Lynne worked most of her life in nursing and held employment over the years at LaSalle Peru Hospital and Morris Hospital. She was the director of nursing at Continental Manor in Dwight and later retired as a nurse case manager with Hartford Insurance Company. Lynne was an active member of United Lutheran Church in Gardner, where she was involved with the ULC Women's Group. Lynne also belonged to the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed needlepoint, cross stitch and crocheting, and took pleasure in gardening and her flowers. Lynne will most be remembered for her love of cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include; three children: Patti (Frank) Sistek of South Wilmington, Matt (Lori) Terry of Braidwood and Leslie Fatlan (Tim Tresch) of Hollister, California; (14) grandchildren: Emily Smith of South Wilmington, Mandi (Aaron) Smith of Cornell, Zach Sistek and Mitch (Mallory) Sistek, both of South Wilmington, Jade Urban of Braidwood, Kristin Terry (Jason Durkin) of Morris, Teagan Urban (Brandon Phillips) of Coal City, Matthew Terry and Kiley Terry, both of Braidwood, Brian (Jill) Fatlan of Mazon, Bruce (Beth) Fatlan of Braceville, Michelle (Kris) Foster of Brevard, NC, and Kayla Tresch and Tyler Tresch, both of Hollister, CA; (18) great grandchildren: Ryan Smith, Natalie Smith, Christopher Smith, Leah Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Daniel Smith, Layla Sistek, Cameron Durkin,  Dylan Fatlan, Devon Fatlan, Ben Fatlan, Baily Fatlan, Brody Fatlan, Britney Fatlan, Bryce Foster, Makayla Foster, Madelyn Foster and Meleah Foster; three sisters: Kathleen (Allen) Terry of LaGrange, Sandra (the late Arden) Humbert of Joliet and Bobbe (the late Ian) Sealley of Iowa;  brothers and sisters-in-law: Sharon (Joe) Sanders of Morris, Dennis (Sandy) Terry of Seneca, Ronald (Mary Ann) Terry of Seneca, Lenny (Diane) Terry of Morris, Kris (Jerry) Sheedy of Ottawa, Laurie (Tom) Hudson of California, Kim LoBianco, Jennifer (Jack) Cox and Amy (Craig) Cassem, all of Morris and Harry (the late Marcia) Kling of North Carolina, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Lynne was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Stephen, one brother-in-law Ronald “Sam” Legner and one nephew Mike Sealley.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015, between the hours of 2:00PM and 6:00PM at Reeves Funeral Home, 203 Liberty Street in Gardner. Lynne will then lie in state Monday, November 9th at United Lutheran Church, 309 East Jefferson Street in Gardner from 9:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 10:00 a.m.  Pastor Jana Howson will officiate and burial will follow in Gardner Prairie Cemetery, where both Lynne and Stephen will be laid to rest.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Lynne’s memory to United Lutheran Church in Gardner or to American Diabetes Association.
