Patricia Skeldon

Patricia J. Skeldon (nee Treadman)

Age 83 of Wilmington, passed away Saturday morning December 3, 2011 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home.

Born June 14, 1928, Patricia was a daughter of the late Raymond and Viola Hanson-Treadman. She was raised and educated in Wilmington and married William Eugene Skeldon, who preceded her in death in 1960. She was a member of Saint Rose Catholic Church and will remembered as an avid card player.

Survivors include three children: Earl Hines and Patricia Abanatha, both of Wilmington and Jack Skeldon of New Lenox; eight grandchildren: James Abanatha of Channahon, Michael Abanatha of Wilmington, Sara Beth Jones of Bloomington, Raymond Hines of Chicago, Richard Hines of Coal City, Christine Skeldon of Joliet, Jackson Skeldon of Coal City and Jacob Skeldon of New Lenox; three great grandchildren: Brittany, Colton and Elizabeth; one brother Jack (June) Treadman of Georgia and her sister Kay Sullivan of Florida, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one son Donald Skeldon (2007) and one brother William Treadman.

The family will receive friends on Saturday December 10, 2011 from 9:00AM until time of services 11:00AM at Freitag-Reeves & Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington. Deacon Don Dyer from Saint Rose Catholic Church will officiate and interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Wilmington.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Patricia's memory to Kuzma Care Cottage, 635 South Main Street, Wilmington, Illinois 60481 or Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Waterstone Circle, Joliet, Illinois 60481.
