Nora Mae Waldron

Age 67 of Coal City and formerly Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Friday May 25, 2012 at her home.

Born November 24, 1944 in Danville, Illinois, Nora was a daughter of the late Delbert and Myrtle Maxine-Mikel. She was raised and educated in Wilmington.

Survivors include four children: JoKenna, JoAnna, LeRoy "Bo" and James; several grandchildren; two brothers: Wayne Mikel of South Carolina and Jim (Doris) Mikel of Braidwood; four sisters: Patricia Wallace of Braidwood, Caroline Frost of Wilmington, Dora (Paul) Ballard of Flora, Illinois and Loretta (Ronald) Rhodes of Ramsey, Illinois, and one sister-in-law: Sue Mikel of Wilmington, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Julie Ann Bendele; son Jeff Mikel and three brothers: Jack Mikel, Jerry Mikel and Leonard Mikel in infancy

Graveside services will be held on Thursday May 31, 2012 at 11:00AM in Wesley Cemetery. Pastor Ron Taylor will officiate.
