Nick Buxbaum

Age 26 of Braidwood, formerly Joliet and Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday September 19, 2018 at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn.

Born September 18, 1992 in Oak Lawn, Nicholas Edward is the son of Danita Morgan. He attended Wilmington High School, and he was a hard worker whose strong work ethic showed by never missing a day of work. Nick had an upbeat personality with a terrific sense of humor. He enjoyed going out to dinner and the movies, as well as playing video games. Family and friends were of the utmost importance to Nick, and he will be missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother: Danita Morgan of Braidwood; his grandparents: Lesa (Robert) Wondolowski of Braidwood, and Brian Buxbaum of Shorewood; the love of his life: Kayla Gushi, and their son Troy; one brother: Jeffrey (Madison) Westbrooke of Lemont; several aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and one nephew.

Visitation will be Monday September 24, 2018 at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road, in Wilmington from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral services, 2:00 p.m., with Reverend Bradley Shumaker officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Sunset Cemetery in Wilmington.
