“Nick”

Age 27 of Wilmington, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017.

Born May 15, 1989 in Joliet, Nicholas Scott is a son of Brian and Amber (Stevens) Findlay of Wilmington. He was raised in Joliet until moving to Wilmington with his family in the fifth grade.

Survivors include his parents: Brian and Amber Findlay; two daughters; one sister: Brandi Findlay (Scott Winkel) of Minnesota; two brothers: Michael Findlay (Katherine Thomas) of Minnesota and Andrew Findlay of Wilmington; his maternal grandmother: Joanna Lawson, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Nick was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Edward Lawson, and paternal grandparents: William and Beverly Findlay.

Visitation and video tribute will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 5:00 p.m. at Baskerville Funeral Home, 700 East Kahler Road in Wilmington.

Cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Nick’s memory to his family for their distribution.
