Age 27 of Coal City, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Morris Hospital.

Born August 8, 1988 in Morris, Nathan John is a son of Linda (Findlay) Lindner and Brett Lindner, both of Coal City. He was raised and educated in Wilmington and Coal City.

Nathan loved the thrill of adventure, whether it was on his dirt bike or quad, Jeeping or mudding. He was an inspiration to all who knew him, and he enjoyed making people laugh. Nathan took pleasure in fishing, and will most be remembered as a loving and caring father.

Survivors include his parents; wife Jennifer; four children: Nadia, Zander, Nate, Jr. and Lyneah; brothers: James Lindner of Coal City and Kyle (Amy) Lindner and Deuran (Carrie) Congo, both of Morris; his paternal grandmother Lois Wharrie of Coal City, and nieces and nephews: Jordan, India, Rayna, Alexis, Kylee, Serenity and Landyn.

Nathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: John and Loneabell Findlay; paternal grandfather Jack Lindner and two uncles: Tommy Keasler and Larry Lindner.

Visitation and Video Tribute will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service 7:00 p.m. at Reeves Funeral Home, 75 North Broadway (one block north of Illinois Route 113) in Coal City. Reverend Dr. Roy Backus will officiate, and cremation rites will be accorded following the services.

Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Nathan's memory to his family for their distribution.
