Naomi MacIntyre

Naomi A. MacIntyre

Age 72 of Marengo, Illinois and formerly of Lombard, passed Friday September 4, 2009 at Nelson Debes Care Center in Rockford.

Born November 9, 1936 in Chicago, Naomi was a daughter of the late Nils Christian Jorgensen and Lucille Koenig. She was raised and educated in the Lombard area and was a graduate of Glenbard West High School in Glen Ellyn. Naomi attended college at Cornell College in Mt. Vernon, Iowa and worked at Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago, prior to marrying George F. MacIntyre. After marriage, Naomi and George were engaged in grain farming in Marengo.

Survivors include her husband George F. MacIntyre of Marengo; three children: Deborah A. MacIntyre of Ocala, Florida and David F. MacIntyre and John W. MacIntyre, both of Marengo; one brother Lance Jorgensen of Destin, Florida and two sisters: Carol Schopke of Rockledge, Florida and Julie Lambert of Batavia, Illinois, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Naomi was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Bruce.

A graveside service will be held on Monday September 14, 2009 at 1:00PM in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington, Illinois.
